MONTREAL HEART INSTITUTE
Project Description:
The Montreal Heart Institute (MHI) needed to automate and enhance the onboarding, orientation, evaluation, and probation process for PCAs to make their integration journey more efficient, interactive, and to improve staff retention.
All steps of the process and training monitoring tools were integrated into BlueKanGo’s solution, allowing real-time data entry for the onboarding, orientation, and probation protocols of PCAs and nurses. This data is accessible to all involved stakeholders and directly connected to the HR IT system (Medisolution) via API.
In addition to the significant efficiency gain from eliminating paperwork and improving proactivity in personalized follow-ups, this project also enhanced staff retention. It won the 2021 Health IT Award in the Innovative Healthcare Facility category.
McGILL UNIVERSITY HEALTH CENTRE
Project Description:
By implementing BlueKanGo, the MUHC aimed to support an integrated and strategic approach to the onboarding, integration, and evaluation processes during the probationary period, with a focus on retention and development of new managers. The system, managed through a real-time platform connected via API to the institution’s HR IT system (Logibec), ensured access for all stakeholders involved.
INTEGRATED UNIVERSITY HEALTH AND SOCIAL SERVICES CENTRE OF WESTERN ISLAND MONTREAL (CUISS)
Project Description:
As part of a tender process, the CIUSSS Centre-Ouest de l’Île-de-Montréal chose to equip itself with BlueKanGo’s CMMS solution for the centralised management of all medical equipment in the Biomedical Engineering department. This allows for an integrated system for managing technological projects related to medical equipment, inventory management, service contracts and extended warranties, maintenance, medical alerts (equipment recalls, incidents, etc.), customer requests and service, logistics, administrative and accounting management, document management, and quality control.
The Quality, Evaluation, Performance, and Ethics Directorate (DQEPE) chose BlueKanGo’s solution for integrated risk management to centralise the monitoring of sentinel events, coroner reports, and other incidents. This aims to measure and track continuous improvement paths to enhance the safe management of processes for the benefit of users.
MONTREAL UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL CENTRE (CHUM)
Project Description:
The Montreal University Hospital Center (Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal, CHUM) has selected BlueKanGo’s human resources solution for their expertise in the digital transformation of HR processes in healthcare. As a result, onboarding, integration, and contribution-tracking processes will be even more personalised and dynamic to enhance retention and development among managers. Additionally, thanks to the API connector between BKG and our Logibec HRIS, information is accessible in real-time for all involved stakeholders.
Additionally, the project includes the development of a statistical tracking tool and dashboard via our Power BI module. With this, CHUM will not only obtain valuable real-time statistical data but also leverage this data for better analysis and informed decision-making. BlueKanGo’s solution offers a range of features, including the generation of tracking lists, integration of historical information, the ability to query individual records or lists, and automatic deadline reminders.
With BlueKanGo, CHUM can effectively and optimally manage internships and be proactive in job offerings, thereby improving the quality of intern student follow-up and fostering recruitment and attraction processes for nursing staff, in addition to smoother administrative follow-ups.
All projects natively include electronic document management (EDM), the statistical reporting and BI module, workflows/automation with alerts, training for “super users, assistance and support, along with secure data hosting.
