BlueKanGo was among the finalists for the second edition of the Health and Social Services IT Awards Gala, held on Thursday, November 4, 2021, in Montreal.
As part of the Health IT Symposium, the second edition of the Health and Social Services IT Awards Gala aimed to honor Quebec-based innovators in information technology (IT) within the Health sector.
BlueKanGo is honoured to have won the Innovative Healthcare Institution Award alongside the Montreal Heart Institute.
BlueKanGo earned this distinction for the digitization project implemented at the Montreal Heart Institute: The steps of the welcome, orientation, and probation processes for personal support workers (PSWs) were digitized. Information is relayed in real-time, directly connected to the PSWs’ schedules, and accessible to all involved stakeholders. This innovation has led to significant efficiency gains and time savings for this healthcare institution, as well as improved staff retention.
Building on this success, the digitization project is now being deployed for all nursing staff at the ICM.
